Two miles from UCLA, six miles from the Santa Monica Pier, 11 miles to downtown LA - with easy access to two major freeways (the 10 and the 405) as well as a walkable distance to Metro bus and train lines, our Studio is exactly where you need to be no matter where you need to go in LA. A short walk to Century City, Beverly Hills, Westwood, the new UCLA research center (former Westside Pavilion), and a slightly healthier walk to UCLA and the beautiful homes of Westwood and Holmby Hills.
Enjoy your own private, quiet, cozy studio apartment - including your own in-unit washer/dryer and large, luxurious shower - in the backyard of a private home (you have your own private, lockable, gated entrance). Furnished, air-conditioned, and equipped with enough basic amenities to get you up and running (dishes, basic cooking essentials, hamper, iron, hangers, towels, linens, basic cleaning supplies). Plenty of available, free street parking (no permit needed on our street), and walkable to Westwood Village, Century City, Beverly Hills, Rancho Park, in-progress UCLA Research Center (former Westside Pavilion), Metro stations, and UCLA campus (a nice healthy walk - we're at the south end of Westwood, near border of Rancho Park). Cable TV/internet and utilities included.
THE FINE PRINT:
For ONE TENANT only. Prefer grad / med / law student or visiting professor. Lease from one- to 10-months only. No permanent housing. No short-term housing.
FULL DISCLOSURE:
1) the studio has a kitchenette (not a full kitchen) - it is equipped with a microwave, small refrigerator, hot plate, and coffee maker. It is NOT for someone who likes to cook, but best for someone who prefers to eat/order out, or makes quick, small meals prepared in a microwave or single pan or pot.
2) It does not have a full closet. It does have two large wardrobes for hanging clothes and folded items, and various cabinets for storage, but best for someone who has fewer things.
3) Our elderly mother lives in the adjoining unit (same building; separate units). Things are generally quiet (she doesn't throw wild parties), but you will hear us coming and going; we are a family living on the property, and we enjoy spending time together. We will respect your study/quiet hours and expect you to respect her age/time/noise tolerance as well.
NO PETS. NO SMOKING. 1/2 month deposit required.
